Add SKOne to your app
Every artifact is published to Maven Central under com.thesubodhgupta.skone and version-aligned by skone-bom.
1. Requirements
- minSdk 24, compileSdk 35
- Kotlin 2.0.21, JVM target 17
- Compose BOM 2024.10.01 (Compose projects only)
2. Repository
SKOne ships to Maven Central; no custom repository is required.
settings.gradle.kts
dependencyResolutionManagement {
repositories {
google()
mavenCentral()
}
}3. Add the BOM and artifacts
app/build.gradle.kts
repositories {
mavenCentral()
}
dependencies {
// The BOM controls the version of every SKOne artifact below.
implementation(platform("com.thesubodhgupta.skone:skone-bom:1.4.0-alpha01"))
implementation("com.thesubodhgupta.skone:skone-common")
implementation("com.thesubodhgupta.skone:skone-compose")
}4. Apply the theme
MainActivity.kt
setContent {
SKTheme(colorScheme = SKColorScheme.system()) {
App()
}
}5. Verify
Render a single component. If it picks up your theme colours, the token pipeline is wired correctly.
